YIKES.

Life is weird.  Life is grand, but it is weird & unpredictable.

As usual I have been bad about updating this blog, all apologies, but things have been bonkers.  San Francisco you are lovely, but alas I have bid you adieu and moved back to my beloved Austin!  I’ll be back here for at least a year while I gear up for a possible move to NYC, finally.  Those who might know me well, know that NYC has been a goal of mine for a long time.  But for now its back to awesome Austin theatre, music, vintage slinging & new film / voice work opportunities!

In RvB news, Season 10 wrapped up & it was epic.  I feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing show with such talented people & I’m excited about being back in Austin so I can see them all more often.  Also, I have to thank all of the fans who’ve contacted me either here or on twitter.  You guys are rockstars & it makes my day when I receive messages from any of you.

As always you can go to www.roosterteeth.com to watch Red Vs. Blue and more like the trailer for their new show RWBY which I can’t wait to work on!

Well, that is all for now.  When something cool happens I will let you know.

GAH!

I know. I’m horrible.  I promised I would blog more & clearly that never happened.  Plus I am currently rewriting this post because I somehow backed out of it & erased it!  Boo. Apparently, I truely suck at blogging.  So, I wont promise but hopefully I will get better at this & post more frequently.  I recorded a long vlog all about Comic Con & RTX 2012 but because my webcam was crap it came out unusable; I bought a fancy new one but now I feel it’s been so long, I don’t know if I should re-record it or not!  I would like to do a weekly vlog but I’m not sure how to sturcture it.   So, until I figure out how the vlog is gonna go here is a long, rambly blog post!

Comic Con & RTX were a crazy two weeks of famish-ness that was some of the most fun I have ever had & adjusting back to life in SF wasn’t easy!  I am working part time now at a great little vintage shop & have been to some great concerts & drag shows.  Plus I’ve been eating out a lot since the restaurants here are stupid good. Acting wise I took a class at ACT & I’ve had a couple of stage auditions but have yet to really get into the film & theatre scene here which I’m anxious about.  I’m submitting to agents this week so we will see what happens once I start going out on film/v.o./tv auditions.   Hopefully this city will treat me well artistically!

In the world of Red Vs Blue, Season 10 has been just wicked good!  Sorry I have been lax at posting the links to the episodes but I’ll post the newest episode & then you can find the rest through the site!

Red vs Blue Season 10 Episode 14

Elijah Wood debuted as Sigma early this season & it is a thrill to hear myself act with him!  The story this season is so well crafted & I feel so lucky to be a part of such a great series made by such amazing folks.  I love the direction Carolina is headed & it’s been nice to show a different side of her in these last few episodes; and of course getting to hear all of my amazing friends every week makes me a little less homesick for Austin.

Most importantly I want to thank the RvB fans for all of the amazing messages, comments & fan art you have left for me on Twitter, Facebook & here.  It means the world to me to know that the work I do is effective.  Best damn fans on the planet.

Welp, I do believe that is all for now! Take care kiddos & who knows, maybe I’ll actually get good at this blogging thing & start to do it more frequently.

Hearts & Stars.

RvB Season 10 is here & other stuff.

RvB Season 10 Chapter 1

YAY! Most of you probably don’t know that I don’t see the episodes until they air so I’m am just as thrilled as you are to see the finished product & this first one is just rad; perfect little taste of what’s to come.  Plus, now that the season has started, were just that must closer to hearing Elijah Wood as Sigma! Here’s a great interview with Burnie Burns in EW all about it: http://popwatch.ew.com/2012/05/24/red-vs-blue-elijah-wood/

Other than that, I just got back from Houston where I saw Ron Paul, a whole mess of Prosti-tots & a Grey Kilted Fat SpiderMan.  Probably the best time I have ever had in Houston.  I mean, come on…it’s Houston.  So now I am glad to be back in SF & just devoured a new book that I suggest to all called The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson.  Unfortunatly, I am now convinced that some of my friends & family are, indeed, sociopaths… well, high functioning ones :)

I think I’m gonna leave it at that for the moment, but every Monday I will post the newest episode of Season 10 !

Seriously. This time I mean it.

OK.  Tons of crazy, amazing changes.  For one, I am pledging right now that I will post at least once a week from now on & this post will be a nice long one filled with updates!  First things first, I have moved out of my beloved Austin after 8 years & out to San Francisco & could not be happier or more excited about it!  I love my base there but am very excited about meeting new people here in the theatre scene as well as concentrating on getting more film/v.o./web work.

Speaking of non-theatre work, I finished recording all of Carolina’s lines for Season 10 of Red Vs. Blue & holy hell it is gonna be amazing! Everyone is in for ton’s of suprises & maybe just maybe a guest voice or two!

Of course in prep for the begining of season 10 we will be at tons of Con’s this year & I am pleased to say I will be at RTX  (July 7-8) as well as San Diego Comic Con! I could not be more stoked to go to Comic Con; not only because I will get to meet some of our amazing fans but also, as a huge nerd, getting to meet some of my icons is just way thrilling!

Ok, I shall be back soon.  I mean it.  But now to explore more of my new city!

Updates! Updates! Updates!

After a great {di}verge closing & a few months off Vestige is gearing up for its next season & I am quite excited about it!

Also, I just finished recording all of Carolina’s lines for Red Vs. Blue Season 9; recording the fight scenes are definitely the most challenging & it pleases my nerddom to see everything all come together to create sheer awesomeness! If you haven’t seen it you totally need to check it out as it is boss.

Other than that & going on auditions, I’m just quite excited about how busy I will be with good stage work soon.

And if I happen to book another Film/V.O./Paid gig that wouldn’t suck.

:)

This is WAY overdue!

YAY! I finally have a website/blog!  Everything pertaining to my ridiculously busy but always entertaining life will be here for your enjoyment.  As of this exact moment I am costume designing the next Vestige show & doing voice over work for RoosterTeeth.com which is super exciting.  Ok, this first one is short, but I must go be productive so I can report back with awesomeness.
